2008 sees Phoenix supporting the Enduro Europe team – 2 guys and 2 girls who have not ridden bikes before and who are riding round Europe – nearly 8,000 miles commencing on 1st August to raise money for Unicef, Help the Aged and the RNLI. We are donating all their training including some off road preparation. Last Sunday saw them all complete their CBT’s and this Sunday they have all converted up to the larger 500cc machine. Their two days direct access training is later in the month followed by all their practical tests on Wednesday 23rd January. Anyone interested in donating or sponsoring the Enduro Europe team should contact us or them by e mail. Their progress can be tracked on our website www.phoenixtrainingonline.co.uk which has a direct link to their website. Phoenix have been operating in Wiltshire for the past 8 years and in that time have expanded considerably due to its high reputation for first time test pass rates and personal service – ‘most of our business is a direct result of personal recommendation’ says Tony Smykowski who started the business in 1999. Now, 8 years on we run everything from basic CBT training up to Blue Riband Advanced courses and Instructor courses. ‘The instructor courses have become really popular and due to demand we franchised the business last year. Since August 2007 we have opened schools in Chippenham, Wiltshire, Bournemouth in Dorset and Torbay in Devon opened last week. On the way this spring are schools in the Portsmouth, Southampton and South Somerset area.’
