ABS

Antilock braking system. This system prevents wheel lock up during turning and braking by reducing the braking force if the tyre starts to lose grip. By keeping constant grip, ABS theoretically lets us brake faster than we normally can.

Aerodynamics

This term describes the forces as you and your motorcycle move through the air. Velocity, pressure, density, and temperature all influence the ease with which your motorcycle can cut through the space ahead of you. The better the aerodynamics, the faster and easier you will move.

Air cooled

This describes how the engine is cooled - the air is forced over the heat sinks to remove the heat from the machine.

Describes the pads (hard or soft) placed at exposed bones of the body hips , knees , shoulders , elbows , spine designed to absorb some of the energy of impact

Aspect ratio

Tyres - the aspect ratio is the ratio between the height of the wall of the tyre and its width. If the height is a quarter the width, the aspect ration is 25% (as an example)
