| Gauges |
These display the information given to the rider via panels under the screen. Information can be speed (speedometer), fuel gauge, revometer (tachometer), and total distance travelled (odometer). |
| Gear ratio |
A gearbox contains toothed wheels that are connected and disconnected to each other in order to switch into the intended gear. The gear ratio is the ratio between the number of teeth of the two wheels that are connected at any given time. If one wheel has 25 teeth and the other one has 50, there is a 2:1 ratio. |
