hello Im just looking for advise on doing dsa. I am 35 and i have not ridden a bike before. Once i have my cbt do i do my dsa on a 125cc or go straight to the 500cc.

Easy for me to say though. I passed my first CBT years ago when the 2-year expiry didn't exist so built up plenty of experience on a smaller bike. Then the law changed and it ran out so I did it again and then did the theory and then full practical on a 600 meaning when I passed I could go straight our and ride anything – however, I believe the law on this may have changed since and may still restrict you for a couple of years. Don't take that as gospel though. There's plenty of info on the net on how it stands now. All you have to know at the end of the day though is that they change the bike law every year to make it harder and harder for riders to pass so I would do whatever you can afford to do to get the licence so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
